Srinagar, Jun 4 (IANS): Four people, including two tourists and two locals, were killed when the vehicle they were travelling in hit an oil tanker in north Kashmir's Pulwama district on the Srinagar-Jammu highway Monday, police said.
Abdul Wahid Shah, Superintendent of Police (Awantipore), told IANS: "A Tavera taxi on way from Srinagar to Jammu hit an oil tanker coming in the opposite direction on the Srinagar-Jammu highway at Charsoo, (35 km from here) this (Monday) morning."
"Four passengers including two tourists from Pune and two locals died in the accident. Three other injured passengers have been admitted to hospital," he added.
