Iran Builds new Space Centre


Tehran, Jun 4 (IANS): Iran is building a new space centre to launch satellites, Defence Minister Ahmad Vahidi said Sunday.

The Imam Khomeini Space Centre is currently under construction. Iran launched its first indigenously-made satellite, Omid (Hope), for data-processing in 2009, Xinhua reported.
