New Delhi, May 29 (IANS): A Delhi court Tuesday reserved its order till June 27 on registering a first information report against Team Anna member Arvind Kejriwal for allegedly lowering the reputation of parliament in a speech delivered in February.
Metropolitan Magistrate Purshotam Pathak put up the matter for order June 27 after hearing the arguments from complainant Vibhor Anand.
"Arguments heard, put for clarification/order for June 27," said the court.
Anand, whose NGO based in West Patel Nagar in central Delhi provides legal aid to people, alleged that Kejriwal made an objectionable speech at a rally in Ghaziabad Feb 26 with malafide intention to lower the reputation of parliament.
The accused "uttered objectionable words intentionally and with malafide intention with the sole motive to lower the credibility and reputation of the elected representatives in parliament", said Anand in his application.
Anand alleged that Kejriwal committed penal offences of sedition and criminal intimidation.
