Chandigarh, May 20 (IANS): The Haryana government has transferred 35 top Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers in a major bureaucratic reshuffle, an officical spokesperson said here Sunday.
The transferred officials include at least 15 financial commissioners and principal secretaries.
The financial commissioners and principal secretaries transferred include Manik B. Sonawane (forest and wild life), Ramendra Jakhu (transport and civil aviation), Ajit M Saran (power), Harbaksh Singh (renewable energy), P.K. Gupta (labour, employment and environment), Rajan Kumar Gupta (excise and taxation), R.R. Fuliya (printing and stationary), Sarban Singh (public health engineering), Hardeep Kumar (sports and youth affairs), R.P. Chander (ITI), Dhanpat Singh (technical education), Vijai Vardhan (tourism, archives, archaeology, museums and cultural affairs), Sanjeev Kaushal (finance and planning), Shashi Bala Gulati (cell for proper utilisation, disposal of government properties) and R.R. Jowel (social justice and empowerment).
Anand Mohan Sharan will be the new director general of information and public relations and cultural affairs. He will also be the managing director of the Haryana Tourism Corporation, the spokesperson said.
R.P. Gupta will be the commissioner of Hisar division, while S.K. Goyal will be the commissioner of Ambala division.
