Hooda Discharged from Hospital

Chandigarh, May 17 (IANS): Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda was discharged from the Post-Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) here Thursday morning after his condition stabilised.

Hooda was rushed to the hospital late Wednesday night after he felt uneasy at his official residence here.

Doctors at PGIMER said the chief minister's blood sugar level had dropped suddenly which led to his feeling uneasy.

Hooda was kept under observation through the night and a few tests were done on him to check his body parameters. He is fine now and has been discharged, a doctor said.

"We have advised him complete rest for the next 2-3 days," the doctor added.

Hooda, 64, was rushed to the PGIMER by his close associate and former union minister Venod Sharma, who was with him when he felt uneasy.
