Mumbai, May 15: Fr Ivo Dias joined St Joseph’s parish, Mira Road, as assistant parish priest on Sunday May 13.

Fr Dias celebrated his first Holy Mass at the parish on Sunday morning. Mira Road parish priest Fr Dominic Vas and parish council vice-president Johnson Saldanha felicitated Fr Dias on the occasion.

SCC director Clifford Faria felicitated assistant parish priest Fr Ivan D’souza also during the programme. Fr Michael Morris launched the redesigned parish website www.stjosephchurchocd.org

Fr Vas said that this website has been specially designed for the parish community as well as for those parishioners who have migrated to different parts of the world so that they can log on and see the activities going on in the parish and stay connected to the parish keeping in tune with the happenings around.

The website will contain the history of the church, information of the parish team, association and cells, SCC activities, weekly announcements, Sunday sermons, photo galleries of events, latest parish news and events related to the parish as well as the Archdiocese of Bombay. This will also enable parishioners to be socially connected with parish groups on social media platforms such as Facebook and YouTube. This new website is designed by Kite Interactive Technologies director and parishioner Sunny D’Souza and his team.
