Tejinder Singh Withdraws SC Plea Against Army Chief


New Delhi, May 10 (IANS): Lt. Gen. (retd) Tejinder Singh Thursday withdrew his petition in the Supreme Court seeking a probe into the alleged bugging of top defence ministry officials at the behest of army chief Gen. V.K. Singh.

The apex court bench headed by P. Sathasivam permitted the withdrawal of the petition after Tejinder Singh's counsel sought the liberty to move an appropriate forum to take up his allegation.
