New Delhi, May 8 (IANS): US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton Tuesday and Indian External Affairs Minister S.M. Krishna discussed terrorism emanating from the region, the Afghan situation and other global issues.
Clinton, in India on a three-day visit, met Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Congress president Sonia Gandhi Monday.
She had earlier met West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in Kolkata before flying to New Delhi.
In her talks with Krishna, Clinton is also said to have raised India's oil import from Iran and opening retail market to foreign direct investment.
