Mumbai, Apr 22 : Good afternoon folks! A warm welcome to you all on this Super Sunday. A double header ahead of us today - Mumbai Indians take on Kings XI at the Wankhede in the first game and Deccan Chargers lock horns with Kolkata Knight Riders in the 8 PM game later today. Big news is that Tendulkar is fully fit and will be raring to go against the Kings XI who will be missing the services of Gilchrist again. Mumbai won't be too jolted with the absence of Malinga, they do have some quality bowlers in their line up that makes them the favorites. But, T20 cricket is unpredictable. Let's find out what happens. Don't go anywhere, we will be back with the toss and the team line-ups.
Mumbai Indians have won the toss and elected to bat.
Some drama at the toss. Harbhajan tossed the coin and David Hussey called. The mic didn't pic up what Hussey called. It came down heads and Ravi Shastri says, 'Heads was the call and heads it is. Harbhajan has won the toss'. Err. . If heads was the call made my Hussey and if it came down heads, how can Bhajji win the toss??
Harbhajan: We had to rectify a few things from the last game. We have had time to recover. Hopefully we perform well today. These breaks will help. From now, we play continuous cricket for the next 10 days. During the day games, the wicket will remain the same throughout the game. We want to bat first and put up a good total, try and restrict them later on. Tendulkar, Franklin and Perera are playing today.
David Hussey: We played good cricket in the previous game. Our batting has been the problem, we haven't put enough total on the board. Gilly won't be playing today, hopefully he'll be back quickly. It is a fantastic stadium, the home of Indian cricket and we look forward to this game. We have a couple of changes - Chitnis and Bhargav Bhatt are playing for us today.
RP Singh: We have 6-7 medium pacers, we won't be missing Malinga that much. I want to be the highest wicket taker in the IPL. Right now, I am behind Malinga and I want to get there. We have had a good break, we have had some nice preparation going into this game. Hopefully, we will play well.
