Panaji: 'Ek Nate', Konkani Music Album by Buyao Theatres Goem to Release on Apr 8

Panaji, Apr 7: 'Ek Nate', 14th Konkani music album by Buyao theatres Goem, composed and conceptualized by Sidhanath Buyao, will be released on Sunday April 8, at the hands of Vijai Sardesai, MLA-Fatorda.

The programme which will be held in Ravindra Bhavan at 6 pm, will witness performance choreographed by school students and also videos will be screened.

Buyao theatres Goem has been in music field since last many years. Goem Shahir Ulhas Buyao, founder of BTG, has given several hit songs to Konkani music lovers. He was also among one who introduced Bollywood fames in his music albums. Noted actress Varsha Usgaonkar had also lent her voice to his music album. Now keeping the father’s legacy, Sidhanath Buyao has introduced to Bollywood singer Shanker Mahadevan for his sufi composition, penned by Sai Palondicar. Also Swapnil Bandodkar, Chaitany Kulkarni, Janhavi Prabhu Arora and Anusha Mani have lent their voice to this album. Sidhanath for the first time have penned two songs and also have sung two songs.

Sidhanath Buyao has also chosen one song of late Manoharrai Sardesai. Besides him, award winner lyricist Shridhar Kamat, Sai Palondicar, Sanjay Borkar, John Aguir and Chetan Acharya have penned the lyrics for this album.

Video of this album is shot at Cab-de-Ram and Colva, Which will be telecasted on local news channels after the release.

Sidhanath Buyao who performed Konkani music in International Jazz festival held in Europe, this was much appreciated by the Jazz listeners. Now after his this album, he has made a firm wish to perform Konkani music in other countries.
