Panaji, Mar 9: Designate Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar today said that all the BJP ministers from his 2005 cabinet would be retained again and state budget would be presented around March 24.

"There are five ministers who were in my old cabinet. They will be sworn in again," Parrikar said, adding that the exact composition of the ministry would be decided later tonight.

Parrikar will be sworn in as a Chief minister on March 9 in the evening on Sports Authority of Goa (SAG) ground in Campal, Panaji.

Party sources stated that eight ministers including chief minister and two ministers from alliance Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party (MGP) would be sworn in tomorrow.

Parrikar told PTI that soon after the swearing in, there will be first cabinet meeting which will list out the priorities before the government. "I will hand over the list of priorities to the Chief Secretary after the cabinet meeting," he said.

He said that party will start implementing the manifesto immediately but it would take little time to deliver. "People also know that it takes time to deliver. First of all whatever mess that has been created by Digambar Kamat led government, that would be reviewed," Parrikar added.

The designated Chief Minister said that `putting in place the state administration is the most important priority for the government.'

Parrrikar said that the state budget would be presented around March 24 in which all the promises made by the party in its election manifesto would be included.

He said that 2012 election had corruption, unemployment and price rise as the main issues on which people voted.
