Mumbai, Mar 8: Mulund Bunts organized a condolence meet for Dr Shankar Shetty, renowned medical practitioner and proprietor of metro-based Shetty’s Endoscopic and Surgical Centre, at Shilpa Residency, Mulund (West), here recently.

Mulund Bunts president Nagriguttu Vivek Shetty presided over the condolence meet here on Sunday.

The office-bearers of Bunts Sangh, Bombay Bunts Association, Thane Bunts, and Doctors’ Association also condoled the demise of Dr Shankar Shetty.

Mulund Bunts president Nagriguttu Vivek Shetty, vice-president Dr Satyaprakash Shetty, convener Suresh B Shetty, honorary treasurer K Jaya Sooda, H Prakash Shetty, Bunts Sangh Mumbai president chartered accountant Shankar B Shetty, Bombay Bunts Association vice-president Shyam N Shetty, Thane Bunts president chartered accountant Karunakar Shetty, Professor Sitaram R Shetty, Mulund Doctors Association members Dr K Mohan, Dr S Kanan, and Dr P Gokhale were present at the occasion.

Dr Shankar Shetty’s wife Shubhalaxmi, children Theerta and Prasad, Mulund Bunts honorary secretary Vasant B Shetty, and executive president Sujata K Shetty garlanded the portrait of Dr Shankar Shetty.

Dr Shankar Shetty hailed from Kunjoor in Udupi district.  He owned Shetty’s Endoscopic and Laproscopic Surgical Centre that was issued with ISE 2000 certification.  He was also a Yakshagana artiste.
