Mumbai, Feb 18 (Cricketnext.com): Arjun Tendulkar on Friday emulated his father Sachin Tendulkar as he scored a match-winning knock of unbeaten 65 runs off just 39 deliveries to help his team win by eight wickets in Cadence Trophy.
In his amazing cameo the child prodigy hit two monstrous sixes and struck twelve classy boundaries during the under-13 match played in Pune. According to a report both the sixes hit by Arjun were believed to have gone out of the park and umpires had to get a new ball both the times.
Arjun, declared man of the match, was sloppy on the field, dropping a simple catch but the opener compensated with the bat.
Sachin Tendulkar will surely be proud of his son who currently plays for MIG Cricket Club. Junior Tendulkar received lots of praise for his effort after that match.
"He is improving by the day. But he is still a kid and it is too early to say anything about his performance. We have to work on his fielding and bowling skills," said one of the MIG coaches.
Arjun has been in the limelight recently for some eye-catching performances apart from being the son of the Little Master.
