Udupi: Prabhakar of Genius Graphics Bags 1st Prize in ‘Sodhe Paryaya – 2012’ Photo Contest

Udupi, Feb 9: Prabhakar, proprietor of Genius Graphics, bagged the first prize in ‘Sodhe Paryaya–2012’, the state-level photography competition titled ‘Paryaya Memorable Moments’, jointly organized by South Kanara Photographers’ Association ® (SKPA) of both Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts, and Krishna Mutt Paryaya Sodhe Mutt.

Photojournalists Janardhan Kodavoor and Ajit Ambalapady bagged the second and third prizes.
Surabhi Studio proprietor Ratan Shetty, Pratvi Uppoor, and Nagesh Vasudev Prabhu bagged the consolation prizes.

Veteran photographers Gurudut Kamat, Astro Mohan, Hemanath Padubidri, and Sridar Shettigar were the jurors of the competitions.

The prize distribution ceremony will be held at Rajangan of Krishna Mutt at 5.15 pm on Friday February 10.

Swami Vishwavallabateerta will preside over the programme. Krishna Mutt Diwan Padigar Srinivas Tantri, SKPA president K Vasudev Rao, SKPA Udupi zonal president Sridar Shettigar, and chief secretary Dhananjay Poojary will be the chief guests on the occasion.
