Udupi, Feb 8: The district JD(S) staged a protest on Tuesday February 7 condemning the rave party organized by a Bangalore-based private company in the guise of promoting tourism during the ‘International Festival’ held at St Mary’s Island, Malpe, a few days ago.
District JD(S) president Deviprasad Shetty, addressing the protesters at Gandhi Circle, on Tuesday alleged that the International Festival was held in poor taste tarnishing the image of India with rave parties by Western tourists.
