Bhatkal, Feb 4: A motor cycle collision took place here at Bunder road fourth cross, there by injuring four persons identified as Khaleel Mohammed Ali(25), Imran Meer Khan (24), Eibad Ahmed Saudagar (18) and Sajid Ahmed Saudagar.
All four of them were residing at Bhatkal Magdoom Colony. According to a source, Sajid was suffering from a particular mental disorder. When two bikes collided, at the same time, two more bikes crashed on to the same spot. However, no body else was injured.
Out of the four who were injured, Khaleel and Imran had a severe fits attack. They were immediately rushed to the welfare hospital and the others were taken to Bhatkal Government Hospital. They were later shifted to Kundapur. The doctor in-charge said that Khaleel suffered from many head injuries. Sajid had incurred a slight head injury. Eibad and Imran suffered from minor injuries on their arms.
Town PSI Prakash Devadigar immediately rushed to the spot. Speaking to the media, DYSP M Narayan said that rash driving has been the cause for several road collisions of late. When the town speed limit is 40 km/hr, he added.
A case has been registered.
