M'lore: Bharat Seva Dal to Organize District Level ‘Makkala Bhavaikyata Mela’ on Feb 22

Mangalore, Feb 2: Bharat Seva Dal district committee convened a meeting ahead of the district-level ‘Makkala Bhavaikyata Mela’ under the chairmanship of district president Basheer Baikampandy here on Wednesday February 1.

Ullal town panchayat steering committee president Farouq Ullal, MLA U T Khader, Bharat Seva Dal Mangalore taluk president Prabhakar Sriyan, district secretary T K Sudhir, Ullal town panchayat member Mustafa Abdulla, social worker Denis D’Souza, teachers’ association convener K M K Manjanady, Bharat High School head master Narasimha Kalluraya, Nagaveni, Seva Dal district organizer Manje Gowda, Madhava Mayya, taluk organizer Rehana, Shanti, and taluk Seva Dal secretary Uday Kundar were present at the meeting.

It was decided to organize the district-level Makkala Bhavaikyata Mela at Bharat High School ground, Ullal, on Wednesday February 22.

A reception committee was formed under the honorary chairmanship of Nitte Vinayak Hegde and MLA U T Khader as executive president.  Farouq Ullal was elected president of publicity committee, Mohan Mendon as president of finance committee, Babu Bangera as convener of food committee, and Mustafa Abudulla as convener of stage programme, as per a press release.
