M’lore: ‘Spectrum-2012’, Symposium on Cardiovascular Therapies on Jan 22

Mangalore, Jan 20: A one-day scientific fiesta ‘Spectrum-2012’, a symposium on cardiovascular therapies and research update, will be held at Hotel Ocean Pearl, Kodialbail, here, on Sunday January 22.

Dr B V Manjunath, chief interventional cardiologist of A J Hospital & Research Centre and head of department of cardiology of A J Institute of Medical Sciences, is the chief convener of the symposium.

The programme will include lectures, interactive sessions, ECG quiz, debate, controversy and panel discussion in various field of cardiology including electrophyiology, interventions, pediatric cardiology and cardiac surgery. Participants will be given electronic voting pad to interact with speakers. Also, ECG quiz winner will be awarded cash prize.

Other associate conveners are Dr R Purushotham and Dr Prem Alva.

    Spectrum 2012 was one of the best symposium conducted in Mangalore. The event stood out for raising the standards of Medical science through evidence based discussion & intellectual debate among the Cardiologists. Truly a memorable event for the way it was organised & for the inspiration it has provided for the next generation of doctors.
