Sullia, Jan 18: On Tuesay January 17, state Chief Minister, D V Sadananda Gowda, participated in the annual Bhoota Kola programme organized at Taravadu Daivasthana, the place in which his ancestors and family have been reposing faith since long.
The Daivas reassured him that his meteoric rise in political field was possible due to the efforts of elders and blessings of the divine, and that he will continue to get the support of the Lord in his endeavours. They advised him to rule the state without any fear and favour, and with conviction.
Gowda, who arrived at his family home in the morning, took over the responsibility of representing the family in the rituals. Vishnumurty Daiva told him that the Daivas are supporting him and hence, advised him not to have any fear or lack of confidence in his endeavours. Vishnumurty Daiva also told him to remember that his family Daivas have always extended their blessings and protection to his family, and asked him to approach it if ever he faces any problems in future. Rakteshwari Daiva also assured protection and support.
The CM spent the entire day at his family home, and greeted everyone who approached him, with a broad smile. His wife, Dati, son, Kartik, brothers, and other family members accompanied him. On this occasion, the citizens handed over a petition to him demanding execution of some schemes in the region for its overall progress.
Gowda later said that his confidence and will power have received a boost with the blessings of the Daivas. He said he had prayed to the Daivas for the welfare and progress of the state. He explained about his belief that the Daivas will ensure that his governance will be efficient and transparent. Recalling that he never skipped from attending this annual Bhoota Kola of his family Daiva, he said this time he could spare only a day as against two in the past. “Even when I was young, Taravadu Daivas provided me inspiration and strength,” he revealed.
