Mumbai: Kannada Sangh Santa Cruz to Celebrate 54th Annual Day on Jan 21

Mumbai, Jan 17: Kannada Sangh, Santa Cruz, will organize its 54th Annual Day and scholarship distribution programme for talented students of the western suburb at Narayan Guru auditorium, Billava Bhavan, Santa Cruz (East), on Sunday January 21.

Kannada Sangh Santacruz president and Bharat Co-operative Bank director L V Amin will preside over the programme.

Billawar Association president Jaya C Suvarna will inaugurate the programme.

Chandrashekar Palettady, chief editor, ‘Karnataka Malla’ Kannada daily, Devadiga community veteran leader Dharmapal Devadiga, Bhandary Association president Suresh S Bhandary, and renowned astrologer Ashok Purohit Kalina will be the chief guests on the occasion.

World Bunts Federation vice-president Aikala Harish Shetty will be felicitated on the occasion.

Various cultural programmes will be held and Tulu historical drama ‘Kordabbu Tanni Maniga’, directed by Karunakar K Kaup, will be staged by the artistes of the metro-based Abhinaya Mantapa.

Kannada Sangh Santa Cruz vice-president Nityanand D Kotian, honorary chief secretary Sujata R Shetty, honorary chief treasurer Chandrahas J Kotian, social and cultural committee president Prema R Kotian, honorary secretary Sharada S Poojary, education committee president Ravindra A Amin, and honorary secretary Sudhakar Ucchil are striving for the success of the programme.
