Mangalore: Vedic Rituals Precede Re-installation Ceremony at Venkataramana Temple

Mangalore, Jan 16: Various Vedic rituals were performed at Venkataramana Temple, Car Street, on Sunday January 15, as part of the re-installation ceremony of the temple deity.
The newly-erected lamp posts on the temple premises were inaugurated on the occasion.
Swami Samyameendra Teerta, the junior pontiff of Kashi Mutt offered ‘prasadam’ to all volunteers for their valuable service at the temple.
The gold crown, studded with nine precious metals, donated by Mundkoor Ramdas Kamat was offered to Lord Venkataramana on the same occasion.
