Moodbidri: Dr M V Shetty Institutions Converge for Annual Sports Meet

Moodbidri, Jan 14: The students of Dr M V Shetty Memorial Trust colleges came together on a single platform to display their athletic skills here on Saturday January 14.

The occasion was the annual sports meet-2012 of Dr M V Shetty Memorial Trust colleges, held at the premises of Dr M V Shetty Institute of Technology, Thodar.

International athlete and film actor Rohith Kumar Kateel, who was the chief guest, inaugurated the function. Dr M R Shetty, founder secretary of the Trust presided over the function.

Trustee Prof Heema Urmila Shetty, principal of MVSIT Dr Sandeep J Nayak, principals of all the Dr M V Shetty Memorial Trust colleges were present on the occasion.

Dr Earnest Jacob, principal of Physiotherapy College welcomed the guests. Manohar, physical director proposed the vote of thanks.

Around 1,500 students of eight colleges participated in the sports events.
