Udupi, Jan 9: Puttige mutt swamiji, Sri Sugunendrateertha Swamiji, is agreeable to attend the Paryaya Darbar proposed to be held on January 18. This however, is subject to his getting invitation from Sode Mutt to attend the function and the decision the other Swamijis may take on his participation.

It may be recalled that the Sode Mutt, the spiritual head of which will be enthroned as the Paryaya chief for a period of next two years on January 18, had created a ripple by choosing not to mention the name of Puttige Swamiji in the name of participants at the Paryaya Darbar in the invitation card. This move had come in for lot of criticism.

Puttige Swamiji visited Pejvar Mutt Swamiji, Sri Vishweshateertha Swamiji, who has launched a three-day fast from today in protest against dropping of two experts he had suggested from the committee appointed to look into pollution and other problems created by Udupi Power Corporation Ltd’s thermal power plant at Nandikoor,  today and held discussions on the issue. The statement came after these discussions at Nandikoor.

A good gesture from Sri Sri Putthige Swamiji even at this situation ready to take confidence the opponent who has been publicly opposing Putthige Sri and people never expect such type of arrogancy in society and that is why Lord Krishna gave darshan to Kanakadasa by turning himself.
Atleast by this we should realise and follow is expected by society.
