Bangalore, Jan 7: Dr Hansraj Alva of Mangalore was felicitated at a programme organized by Bangalore Bunts Association recently.

At a felicitation ceremony held at Buntara Bhavana in Vijayanagara, housing minister V Somanna felicitated Dr Alva with a shawl and a memento.

Bangalore Bunts Association president Bhagavandas Rai, secretary Tharanath Hegde, entrepreneur Pakash Shetty, film actor Yash, Youth Bunts office-bearers Prasad Shetty, Geethanjaly D Ajila, Praveenchandra Shetty, and Deepak Shetty were present.

    WOW !!! Dr.Hansraj...Very Connected,[I mean connecting to the patients] Very Real, Humble enough, A true gentleman. Of course, He has been nice to me,was a junior in school.Being SO accomplished ,.his feet are on ground. THOUGH BUSY, beyond compare,yet,like the legendary Dr.Shantaram Shetty, He makes time for Social interactions. Again ,its PATIENT CENTRIC.Once I met him at a wedding reception, & wondered how he found TIME ?? BUT I was told by the brides father, that BUT for our doctor[{my IDOL] the bride would have died.SO he has that human touch & cares ,even after hospital hours. Another time I met him at the BOJJA of my friends BRO-n-law, Again I WONDERED..how he makes time, YET, I was told that Dr.Hansraj had treated the deceased,. That gives an insight into the Humane doctor, though ,he can be the best doctor, when its inevitable,One departs., BUT our doctor, is still there with the family,which has become like his very Own.This is just a spontaneous response ,when I saw, MY IDOL, Dr. Hansrajs Name, just felt like telling what my heart feels...Long LIVE & LONG SERVE our DEVOTED DOCTOR, who is a real Doctor in the true sense of the word.[like the doctors of yore[olden days]] I am sure He will Shy away, If he Reads This, Cause, that's His Nature,,very self effacing. love you Dr.hansraj., jerardin dsouza
