Mumbai (RBI), Jan 26: Harmony Foundation celebrated the 76th Republic Day alongside the residents of SEAL Ashram, in an event graced by distinguished guest Sanjay Darade IPS, IG, Konkan Range on January, 26.

The Republic Day celebration took place among SEAL ASHRAM's destitute individuals, children, and residents with disabilities, showcasing their unwavering commitment and love for the nation, regardless of their circumstances.

This Republic Day, Harmony Foundation also extended their heartfelt gratitude to the Navi Mumbai commissioner of police, Milind Barambe, for his unflinching support of SEAL Ashram and strengthening the mission of such organizations committed to serving humanity.

Republic Day marks the day the Constitution of India came into effect, symbolizing the nation's steadfast commitment to unity, equality, and democratic principles.

Since its inception in 1999, SEAL Ashram has been devoted to rescuing destitute individuals and vulnerable children from the streets and railway platforms of Mumbai and its suburbs.

Harmony Foundation salutes SEAL Ashram for its remarkable humanitarian efforts, which embody the foundational ideals enshrined in the Constitution of India. SEAL Ashram has also been felicitated with Harmony Foundation’s prestigious Mother Teresa Memorial Awards for Social Justice in 2023 at the hands of the Maharashtra governor.

Over the years, SEAL Ashram has successfully reunited around 578 people with their loved ones. The mission of SEAL Ashram resonates with the vision of India’s constitutional framers, striving to build a just and equitable society free from social injustice, discrimination, and poverty.

By championing the principles of compassion and inclusion, SEAL Ashram serves as a lifeline for the abandoned and marginalized, exemplifying the values envisioned by the forefathers.

In a world often driven by material pursuits, SEAL Ashram stands as a beacon of hope, faith, and unwavering humanity.

Harmony Foundation takes immense pride in standing united with SEAL Ashram and its residents to celebrate this joyous occasion.
