Puttur, Jan 5: Sullia MLA, Angara, has advised former union minister, Janardhana Poojary, to introspect the happenings within his own party before pointing fingers at others. He was reacting to Poojary’s remarks about the stone pelting incident on Sullia police station and later developments.
Angara challenged Poojary to express his opinion about Sullia Block Congress Committee president, M Venkappa Gowda’s action in brandishing his pistol and pointing it at a constable on duty at the court complex a year back.
Speaking to reporters, Angara felt that Poojary does not know the reality behind the incidents at Sullia. He advised the latter not to analyze the police atrocities with political motive. He felt Poojary will do well to analyze the happenings within his own party unit in Sullia.
