Live Cricket Score : India Vs Australia - Second Test, Day 1

Sydney, Jan 3: Australian fast bowlers have continued to dominate Indian top order, claiming four wickets for 74 runs before lunch, at the first day of second cricket test match at Sydney Cricket Ground on Tuesday, January 3.

Familiar story once again - India collapsing and getting themselves into trouble. It is happening with worrying regularity for them especially overseas. Gambhir fell 3rd ball and that set the ball rolling. Lack of foowork from Rahul Dravid, Sehwag and VVS sent them back.

Tendulkar though has batted on a different planet. He looks a cut above the rest. India need him to stay for a long time.

Pattinson once again was the pick of the bowlers. The others just plugged away. The post-lunch session promises more action.

Sachin Tendulkar was on 23 and Virat Kohli on 13 at the crease when the play started after lunch.

Earlier, India won the toss and elected to bat.
