Bhatkal: Shams English School Holds Annual Gathering

Bhatkal, Dec 1: Shams English Medium held its annual gathering here at shams campus recently.

The programme began with the recitation of Quran by Mohammed Akeeb.

Chief guest SM Syed Khaleel-ul-Rahman in his address said that the uniqueness which lies in education is that there is no competition in education. He pointed out three important things in education are important  quality, success and knowledge.

 He further said that one should read Quran with the understanding the meaning, he also urged women to attend ladies Quran course and said that it is very important for the community .

He also said that people should emulate Prophet Mohammed’s life style , he also urged parents to teach their kids good manners at an early age.

Mohammed Gause Khalifa in his address spoke  about importance of education, especially Islamic education .

Special invitee from Banglore Atharullah Shareef in his address spoke about the importance of modern technology in education.

He also congratulated the students and wished them success.

Jukaku Abdul Raheem, vice president of Anjuman Hami-e-Muslemeen Kashimji Mohammed Ansar, Kazia Mohammed Younus, and Kadeer Meera Patel were also present.

Mohammed Pillor was awarded with Ikhwan-e-Shams gold medal and toppers of all standards were awarded.

Shams Women’s gathering was held in afternoon followed by Urdu poetic meet, where in poets from different states participated. Cultural programmes were held for women and men next day.

Syed Ashraf Brahmawar welcomed the gathering, principal Mohammed Shafi Shaikh presented the annual report where as Prof Raza Manvi presented the annual sports report and Prof Mohammed Hussain Jukaku presented annual cultural report.
