The eagerly anticipated event will take place on January 1, 2025, at 6 pm, at the Bondel Church Grounds. This grand charity show aims to support the St Lawrence Church and Shrine Bondel Innovative Project.
Wilson Olivera, celebrated for his soul-stirring lyrics and captivating voice, has earned a special place in the hearts of Konkani music enthusiasts from Mangaluru to Mumbai, Dubai, and beyond. The evening will showcase 16 enchanting melodies from his renowned and latest compositions, accompanied by engaging comedy, skits, and vibrant dance performances, providing the perfect entertainment to kick off the new year.
The event will be hosted by the esteemed compere, Ronald Oliveira, with music direction by the renowned maestro, Roshan D'Souza Angeloor. A stellar lineup of vocal talents, including Ashwini D'Costa, Pradeep Pinto, Prashant Pinto, Joseph Mathias, Stuart Olivera, Velita Lobo, Zena Pereira, Shilpa Coutinho, and Jason Lobo, will grace the stage with their harmonious voices, supported by the talented off-pitch Mangaluru ensemble.
Adding a hearty dose of humour, the popular Kuwait Express group, featuring Stephen Machado, Lancy Rodrigues, Lucy Aranha, Anil Menezes, and Renny Menezes, will leave the audience in stitches with their delightful comedic acts.
The Urban Groove dance troupe, choreographed by the renowned Avil D'Cruz, will mesmerise the crowd with their electrifying performances, seamlessly blending grace and energy for an unforgettable night.
In addition to the entertainment, the evening will reveal visionary plans for the renovation of Bondel Church, transforming it into a celebration of faith, community, and the arts.
