Mangaluru, Dec 21: The much-awaited Christmas Wine Carnival kicked off with grandeur on Saturday December 21, marking the start of an exciting two-day celebration at Village Restaurant's parking lot. The event, hosted by Wines & Spiritz in association with Village Restaurant, promises an unforgettable experience for wine enthusiasts, foodies, families, and fashion lovers alike.

The inaugural ceremony was graced by three distinguished guests. The first was Munita Veigas Rao, famously known as the Nightingale of Mangalore. Munita, a renowned singer, songwriter, and vocal trainer, added an extra sparkle to the event with her presence. Joining her was Anjuna Kamath, an esteemed educator and child psychologist, who is also the founder of the Hakuna Matata Club and director at Canara International School & Nandagokul. The third guest, Nanditha Acharya, founder of Zari Couture, has carved a niche in the fashion industry. All three guests were warmly welcomed as they inaugurated the carnival, ushering in a festive spirit for all.

The carnival also boasted an impressive line-up of prestigious wine partners, including renowned names like Sula, Fratelli, Big Banyan, Grover, Aspri Spirits, and Monika. These wine giants set up stalls that will be available over the next two days, offering a unique opportunity to taste their exceptional wines and purchase bottles to take home.

In addition to the finest wines, guests were treated to a selection of delicious food from some of the most well-known brands. Kni Hau by Goldfinch, Hangyo Ice Cream, and Capella took charge of satisfying the taste buds with their delectable offerings, creating a perfect pairing with the wine selection.

The event also features fashion and charity partners, making it a truly holistic celebration. Edi, the fashion partner, brings an exclusive collection that combines style and comfort for the holiday season, while the Lucy's and Needlework Circle, the charity partner, showcases beautiful handmade treasures, supporting a cause close to their hearts.
For the young ones, the carnival offers a kids’ play area, featuring a fun trampoline to keep them entertained while the adults enjoy the festivities.
