Mangalore: Christmas Crib, Tree Making Contest Held at St Rita’s Church, Cascia

Mangalore, Dec 24: Crib-making competition was held in St Rita’s Church, Cascia, Morgan gate for the first time on Friday December 23.

The competitions were for 10 groups which was open to all parishioners. On the spot crib preparation within the time limit of 2 hours was held for parishioners.


Christmas tree competition in the parish was also organized for the first time on Saturday December 24. Eight participants with a group of three each participated.

The crib competition was judged by Fr Maxim Rosario, Fr Wilson D’Souza and Denis Fernandes. The Christmas tree competition was judged by Fr George Crasta and Dorian D’sa. The response was well appreciated by all the parishioners.
