Mangalore: Christmas Joy Resonates at St Antony's Ashram

Mangalore, Dec 24: Christmas was celebrated at St Antony's Ashram, Jeppu here on Friday December 23 with much joy and devotion.

Dr Aloysius Paul D'Souza, Bishop of Mangalore presided over the programme and distributed Christmas kuswar to inmates.

In his message he said, "Christmas is a festival which conveys love and peace which Jesus Christ brought to the world. This love of Jesus has been imparted specially to the inmates of the Ashram."

Msgr Denis Moras Prabhu, director, welcome the gathering. Fr Francis D’Souza, administrator proposed the vote of thanks. Fr George Crasta, assistant director and Sushil Noronha were present.

Prior to this, the bishop blessed the beautiful crib at the entrance of St Antony's Ashram.

    Too impressed and emotional to view the photographs and the programme conducted.

    I honestly feel these pictures with joy and happiness of the inmates will bring blessings to our Bishop and to His Good works.
    His Excellency Bishop of M'lore is OUR BISHOP reaching to the needy and the poor.

    Praying to the Infant Jesus a Christmas Joy to all the supporters of this Cause.
