Bangalore, Dec 23: KE Bangalore recently organised a networking event for its members with Christmas celebration. Over 100 KE members and guests attended this event. The programme started with a welcome address by the president elect of KE Bangalore, Robinson D’Souza.
He gave an induction programme to the members including a flash back of all the events and activities of the board of directors. During the programme, the fourth issue of the KE news magazine, THE ENTREPRENEUR was released.
Businesspersons, executives and professionals are always stressed up with day to day activities in their work place. To relax and get into a good mood before Christmas, Richard Lewis, a well-known humourist of international repute from Bangalore, conducted a stand-up comedy session. Everyone burst into laughter and enjoyed the session.
KE was proud to have Richard Lewis, popularly known as Richy, a Mangalorean origin personality who has conducted over 2500 shows in India and all over the world. He is a famous film script writer having written script for more than 42 feature films in Kannada. Halunda tavaru, Curfew, Kotigalu Sir Kotigalu, Nanna Preetiya Hudugi, Tuvvi Tuvvi, are some of the most popular films. Known in the industry for more than 30 years he has been involved in many successful feature films, TV serials. Richy is one of the sought after theatre personality in Kannada entertainment industry and, a member of Karnataka Nataka Academy.
As the part of KE networking, and promotions, KE organised members’ product displays. Deccan Group of Industries Promoted by KE members- Adrian D’Souza, Laveena D’Souza, Clarence Pereira, had displayed their products such as Power transformers, Leather Garments, Doors and windows. Brilliant Printers (P) Ltd., Promoted by KE members – Anil Rego, Sunil Rego, Manil Rego displayed their printed / publication products.
Networking, Christmas carols, singing and dancing and fellowship were the highlights of the programme.
Adrian D’Souza, director finance, proposed the vote of thanks. He thanked Richard Lewis for the excellent humour programme, sponsors, the event directors and the management of the Hotel Grand Magrath. He thanked the KE members for their whole hearted participation and support. George Timothy, co-ordinated and anchored the event.
