Mangalore, Dec 20: The co-ordination committee and the action committee formed to fight for justice in connection with the mysterious death of Al Haj CM Abdulla Musliyar Chembarikka (75), Qazi of Mangalore, protested against the report submitted by the CBI and demanded fresh inquiry. Prior to this, a silent procession was carried out from Dr Ambedkar Circle near Jyothi to the DC office, to submit a memorandum.
Qazi Al Haj Twaka Ahmed Musliyar, presiding over the protest meet, said that it is not a suicide as projected but incidental murder. “This was told clearly to the local police and to the CBI, but the investigative agency has termed it a suicide. When the dead body of Abdulla Musliyar was found, there were some injuries on the body. When the investigation was carried out, all these issues were neglected,” he rued. He added that they would not stop protesting till the truth comes out.
