Manjeshwar: Udaya Higher Secondary School inaugurates Udaya Ragam FM Radio Station

Manjeshwar, Dec 10: Udaya Higher Secondary School, Manjeshwar, reached a new milestone with the inauguration of its very own FM Radio Station, Udaya Ragam, on December 10. The FM station aims to enhance students' learning experience by fostering creativity, improving communication skills, and providing a platform for storytelling, music, and cultural exchange within the school.

The inauguration ceremony was graced by chief guest Ganesh Prasad Nayak, a renowned Kannada teacher at SAT High School, Manjeshwar, and a talented musician and composer. In his inspiring speech, Nayak emphasized the significance of FM radio as an educational tool. He stated, “FM radio is the perfect medium to explore language, improve pronunciation, and refine storytelling skills. It encourages students to think creatively and express themselves effectively. This initiative will undoubtedly enhance their linguistic and artistic abilities.”

The program was attended by the school’s principal, Jerald Ivan Crasta, and campus director, Fr Santhosh D'Souza, who lauded the efforts of the team behind the radio station and highlighted the importance of innovative learning platforms in schools.

The program, composed by student Nafeesath Fazna, featured RJ performances by CA Fathimath Muhseena and Nafeesath Fidah, who showcased the potential of Udaya Ragam as a platform for vibrant and engaging content.

The launch of Udaya Ragam FM marks a new chapter for Udaya Higher Secondary School, promising a creative space for students to explore their talents and connect with their peers.
