Bantwal, Nov 30: A fire safety demonstration was conducted at Siddakatte Government Pre-University College on Wednesday, November 30, organised by the Loretto Hills Rotary Club. The demonstration, aimed at educating students on fire accident prevention, was led by the Bantwal Fire Brigade team.

The session saw participation from high school and PUC students. Suresh Shetty, president of the Loretto Hills Rotary Club, emphasised the importance of teaching life skills alongside formal education, stating, “It’s essential to equip students with the knowledge to handle emergencies from an early age.”

Bantwal fire station officer Rajesh and his team conducted the demonstration, showcasing fire control techniques. Rotary Club members Raghavendra Bhat, Hariprasad Shetty, and Santosh Kumar were also present.

Teacher Mahesh Kumar welcomed the gathering and thanked everyone for their participation.
