Mangalore, Dec 16: Certain changes have been made in the time schedules of the Mangalore-Muscat-Abu Dhabi and Mangalore-Abu Dhabi flights. These changes will come into force with effect from December 19.
Air India, which has also suspended certain flights, said in a release that these changes, which have been made for operational convenience, will be effective till January 31, 2012.
The Mangalore-Muscat-Abu Dhabi flight No. IX 817, which leaves from the airport here on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays, will leave at 9.25 pm and reach Muscat at 11.45 pm. This flight will depart from Muscat at 12.30 pm and reach Abu Dhabi at 1.50 am. The return flights, which leave on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays (IX 818), will leave Muscat at 12.30 am and reach Abu Dhabi at 1.50 am. The flight will take off from there at 2.40 am and reach the city at 7.20 am.
The flight IX 815 which operates between the city and Abu Dhabi on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, which undertakes its return journeys (Abu Dhabi-Muscat-Mangalore) on Wednesdays and Thursdays, will remain suspended.
Likewise, the Mangalore-Abu Dhabi flight (IX 817) which operates between the city and Abu Dhabi on Sundays, and its return flight (IX 818) on Mondays from Abu Dhabi will not be operational for the present, the release added.
