Mangalore: Trailer Truck Wreaks Havoc on City Road

Mangalore, Dec 14: A motorcyclist fractured a limb and a car was damaged when a container trailer truck laden with motorcycles and plying on a city road, where heavy vehicular traffic was banned, rammed into the vehicles.

The incident occurred at Old Pumpwell Road, Kankanady, on Wednesday December 14.

The truck driver, without heeding the signals of fellow motorists, drove off ramming into a motorcycle and a car and later fled the spot, eyewitnesses said.

The injured motorcyclist has been identified as Valerian Pinto, a resident of Padil, here. 

Kankanady rural police registered a case in this regard.

    I feel this driver of Tractor Trailer driver must have been under the influence of alcohol or controlled substance. Anyway he is lucky that he did not kill the bike rider or the car driver. Thank you Mr. Dayanand Kukkaje for the beautiful pictures.
