Mangalore, Dec 12: Spandana Trust, Infant Mary’s Convent, Jeppu celebrated Christmas in a unique manner with the people who are having chronic ailments such as HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis, Cancer, Kidney failure and Heart disease people irrespective of cast and creed.
A Christmas skit showing the birth of Jesus was perfomed on the day.Children danced and a beautiful fitting message was imparted by Sr Josephin D’Silva, St Joseph Prashanth Nivas, Sr Mary Emma Joseph – superior, Infant Mary’s Convent, presided over the function.
Sr Evangeline, managing trustee, Spandana Trust, welcomed the gathering. Reena Lobo proposed vote of thanks. Victor Vas – co-ordinator, Spandana Trust was the convener of the programme and was the master of ceremony. About 250 people participated in the programme.
