Mangalore, Dec 10: Jamiyyatul Falah, the city corporation unit has donated two Dialysis Machines to Father Muller Medical College Hospital here on Friday December 9.
The machine will be used to dialyse the needy poor patients.
The Father Muller Charitable Institutions extended gratitude toJ amiyyatul Falah for their gesture of concern through a small programme in the Council Hall.
Fr Richard Coelho the administrator of the Hospital welcomed the gathering and introduced the chief guest Khaleel Ahmed the president of Jamiyyatul Falah and Nissar Ahmed chairman, Presidency Group of Institutions and other office bearers, doctors and nursing staff.
Dr J P Alva, Dean spoke on the causes of renal failure. He added uncontrolled diabetes and uncontrolled hypertension mainly causes renal failure. Regular exercise and proper food habits can control this disease. He also said that renal failure occures dialysis helps the patient.
The director of FMCI Fr Patrick Rodrigues spoke on the occasion and expressed his gratitude to Jamiyyatul Falah. Later the two dialysis machines were blessed by the director and installed in the department.
