Delegation from M'lore Diocese Meets CM, Thanks him for Withdrawing Cases

Bangalore, Dec 8: A delegation from Mangalore diocese on behalf of Bishop Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza met chief minister D V Sadananda Gowda at his official residence 'Krishna', here on Wednesday December 8, and expressed gratitude for withdrawing cases against Christians in the 2008 church attacks.
The delegation also invited the CM to attend the post-centenary silver jubilee celebrations of the Mangalore diocese that will be held on February 11 and 12, 2012.
Sadananda Gowda also assured the delegation that the state administration will release Rs 50 crore that was reserved for Christian Development Council at the earliest.
Mangalore diocese PRO Fr William Menezes, legal advisor M P Noronha, CODP director Fr Onil D’Souza, jubilee celebrations committee secretary Susheel Noronha, Kulshekar parish council vice-president Praveen Patrao, and Kulshekar parish finance committee member Rajesh D’Souza were present at the occasion.
