Udupi, Dec 8: Cricketer Ravi Shastri took part in religious programme organized at Sri Krishna Mutt here on Wednesday December 7.
The devotees were surprised to see Ravi Shastri in customary attire of Kachche Panche and shawl, handling items of puja, and following the directions of the presiding priest. Diwan of Shirur Mutt, Latavya Acharya, and Vadiraj Pejattaya, who is close to Ravi Shastri, assisted Ravi Shatri to perform religious rituals.
Shastri took part in the Vayustuti Punashcharana Home organized at Vasanta Mantapa of the Mutt at 6 am. Later, he had the darshan of Lord Krishna, before paying respects to Sri Laxmivarateertha Swamiji of Paryaya Shirur Mutt.
Shastri left for Indore via Mumbai thereafter through Mangalore Airport.
