Chennai, Dec 8 (IANS) Indian Squash Academy trainee Karan Malik created a flutter when he scalped 5 to 8 seed Vikas Jangra of Services 11-3, 11-9, 5-11, 0-11, 11-6 in the first round of men's singles at the senior National Squash championship here on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, fifth seeded Gaurav Nandrajog from Delhi survived a strong challenge by National Under-17 champion Kush Kumar 6-11, 11-6, 11-5, 12-10.
