Mumbai, Oct 18: The 47th annual Navarathri Mahotsav was celebrated with grandeur at Sri Durgaparameshwari Mandir, run by the Sri Durga Parameshwari Committee, in Kurar Village, Tanaji Nagar, Malad East.
Priests Sooda Raghavendra Bhat and Tantri Shankaranaraya Tantri Dombivili conducted various rituals, including Rangapooje Seve, Navadurga Homa, Maha Pooja, Mantrakshathe, and Mahasabhe at 12 noon and 8 pm daily, followed by Theerthaprasada and Annasantharpane. In the evening, Kumari Durga Kalpokta Pooja, Kunkumarchane, and other religious programmes were held.
The event saw the presence of prominent guests, including Premanatha Salian, MD of Abhyudaya Cooperative Bank; Ananda K Kotian, MD of Liberty Shipping; Yogendram Kottari, president of Karnataka Sangha Kharghar; Prasad R Kotian, Sharad S Kotian, Prasanna S Kotian, Muralidhara B Poojary, Girish B Suvarna, Ashritha Adarsh Kottari, and Shailesh Gowda of Classic Hotel.
Raghunatha Kottary, president of the Sri Durgaparameshwari Committee, Somappa B Kotian, honorary chief secretary, Babu M Suvarna, honorary treasurer, along with office bearers, members, and numerous devotees participated in the festivities and conducted the services.
