Bunts Sangha Ahmedabad launches nature conservation initiative 'Nisarga'

Ahmedabad, Oct 15: Bunts Sangha Ahmedabad proudly announced the launch of "Nisarga," a proactive initiative aimed at promoting environmental conservation in Gujarat. This programme is dedicated to raising awareness, preserving nature, and implementing organised actions to combat climate change.

On October 12, during the auspicious occasion of Dussehra, Sri Vedavardhana Tirtha Swamiji, the head of Shiruru Mutt in Udupi, inaugurated the initiative with blessings and support.

During the event, community members from Ahmedabad pledged their commitment to environmental protection through tree planting, waste management campaigns, recycling programmes, eco-friendly initiatives, and sustainable practices. "Nisarga" aims to unite like-minded individuals and organisations in creating a greener, healthier planet, stated Nitesh S Shetty Shirwakodu, president of Bunts Sangha Ahmedabad.

"We are eager to initiate this programme and contribute to environmental conservation. 'Nisarga' is a step towards a sustainable future, and we are excited about its enthusiastic implementation," added Nitesh Shetty.

The event was attended by various members, including Kiran Shetty, secretary of BSA, treasurer Prashant Naik, and executive committee members Sudarshan Shetty and Suresh N Shetty. Sri Swamiji blessed the attendees, and Kiran Shetty delivered the vote of thanks.
