Mangalore: Konkani Book, ‘Amcho Konkani Bhav’ Released

Mangalore, Nov 30: ‘Amcho Konkani Bhav’, a unique book in Konkani on the life of Blessed Noseph Vaz, was released at a function organized at Blessed Joseph Vas Shrine, Mudipu, near here, recently.

The book was unveiled by Fr Gregory D’Souza, director of Blessed Joseph Vas Shrine, in the company of Fr Alphonsus D’Lima, parish priest o Gangolli parish, Fr Rohith D’Costa, assistant parish priest of Mandanthyar parish, and Fr Vinod Lobo, assistant parish priest of Mudipu.



Author of the book, Vinod Gangolli, vice president of Mudipu parish pastoral council, Felix D’Souza, parish secretary, Felix Cutinha, and Helen Rebeiro, secretary of Gangolli parish council, were present.

The book is being offered at a nominal price of Rs 20, to enable the devotees to go through the book and get to know about the life of Blessed Joseph Vaz.

Fr Alponsus D’Lima thanked Vinod Gangolli for writing this book, which he said, will enable people to know about the life and achievements of Blessed Joseph Vaz.

Vinod Gangolli proposed vote of thanks. Fr Vinod Lobo compered the programme.
