Beltangady, Oct 7: Fr L M Pinto Hospital in Badyar inaugurated its new laboratory facilities on October 2. The event featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by Fr Praveen D'Souza, director of ICYM Belthangady Denary, with hospital administrators and dignitaries in attendance.

The installation of advanced equipment, including a Smart CLIA Analyzer, Haematology Analyser, and Electrolyte Analyser, enhances the hospital's diagnostic capabilities. These upgrades will enable a broader range of tests with quicker turnaround times and improved accuracy.

In conjunction with these enhancements, the pricing structure has been revised to reflect the expanded service offerings.

The new test panel includes:

• Thyroid: T3, T4, TSH, FT3, FT4
• Anaemia: Vitamin B12, Vitamin D
• Fertility: AMH, LH, FSH, Prolactin, Progesterone, Testosterone, Estradiol (E2), Total B-HSG
• Cardiac: hs-cTnI, NT-ProBNP, D-dimer, CK-MB
• Inflammation: PCT
