Bellary: Somashekhara Reddy’s Position as KMF Chairman in Danger

Bellary, Nov 28: BJP-backed directors of Karnataka Milk Federation have asked Somashekhara Reddy, suspended MLA and brother of former minister, Gali Janardhana Reddy, to resign from his post as chairman of Karnataka Milk Federation with immediate effect, if he has self respect. Their demand came in a press conference held in the town on Sunday November 27.

At a press conference held at the BJP office here, nine directors of Karnataka Milk Federation including P Nagaraj and Manjula Biradar, demanded Reddy’s scalp. They said that Somashekhar Reddy has lost support of the board of directors of the federation.

They accused Reddy of indulging in anti-party activities by openly canvassing for former minister, Sriramulu, who is fighting the by-poll as an independent candidate. “Reddy was given this post because his loyalty to the BJP. As he has been suspended now, he should accept our challenge and tender his resignation,” they demanded.
