Sullia, Oct 3: A wild elephant destroyed crops on farmland at Kudkuli and Korambadka in Kanakamajalu village of the taluk here.
The elephant uprooted eight coconut plants, one large coconut tree, and over 25 plantain saplings, along with arecanut saplings.
It also entered the farmland of Korambadka resident Padmanabha Gowda, causing further damage to arecanut and plantain saplings.
