Mangaluru: Cybercrime awareness programme held at Dharma Jyothi Social Centre

Mangaluru, Sep 28: Dharma Jyothi Social Centre and the Women’s Federation organized a cybercrime awareness programme on Saturday, September 28.

The session was led by Chandru, head constable of Vamanjoor Police, who shared real-life incidents related to social media cybercrimes and online fraud.

Sr Joel Lasrado delivered the introductory speech, while Asha, president of the Federation, addressed the audience. Lady police officer Nethravathi was also present.

Members of the Ujwala self-help group compered the programme, which benefited a total of 73 women from the group.
